What’s in a sign?

It’s only a sign!
Why put it out?
Who will even see it
in my cul-de-sac?

I don’t want to forget…
get sidetracked by extremism.

It’s only a sign!
it won’t save lives
it won’t change policy
it won’t heal wounds

But it is a truth…
I don’t want to forget.

Some people just need things ‘splained to them…and if they read a sign maybe it sparks comprehension. Conversations can be hard–people on the defensive are notoriously hard to educate–and I like the way your sign puts it!

It may be “only” a sign, but you are putting it out there! And agree with Paula.

It’s good. My sign says “Masks save lives.” Doesn’t it feel good to speak out and inspire others? We are one.

Great sign! There are times I wish I had a yard and could make my feelings like this public. The best I could do in my highrise was tape a Teddy Bear cut-out to my living room window in support of all of us locked in by the panedmic. And since I’m on the 18th floor, the only people who see it are those folks on floor 18 in the adjacent building and the hotel a block a way…if they can see that far! Thanks for spreading the word, Barb.

  6. Many signs around but few of any merit. This sign nails the message perfectly. Thanks for sharing something positive.
